Socials & Safaris

Our weekly Social paddles are FREE for DPBClub members and non-members are always welcomed (small booking fee applicable).

During Spring, Summer & Autumn we paddle from our base at The Albany Pub, Thames Ditton every other Thursday evening and Sunday afternoons and alternate between Kingston and Weybridge alternate Thursday evenings. During summer we run socials with our West London group in various locations on The Thames and Grand Union Canal.

Open to all level of abilities and a great way to paddle with other like-minded people. Club social’s are relaxed and friendly, led by a qualified club member – the route, pace and distance are determined by the group – we never leave anyone behind!

Our year round Safari’s take us to other waterways to explore. These safari trips are planned, risk assessed and led by our qualified Paddlesport Leaders.

DPBClub members go FREE and non-members are always welcomed (small fee applicable).

Safari’s vary in distance and duration, often including a lunch stop at a waterside pub/cafe. Sometimes entailing us climbing over trees with our boards and having to get in and out to avoid low obstacles – these adventures are currently only open to those who have paddled before and are used to paddling longer distances. We welcome kayakers & canoeists on our safari’s – please check each safari’s activity details to ensure it’s a suitable one for you.
