- Water, snack, hat and sunscreen if hot.
- All equipment is provided or you can use your own board if you have one.
The group will start at the base and under the instruction of the Paddle UK qualified coach will be taught about the equipment and fitted with buoyancy aids. The session will cover water safety and river etiquette. The coach will teach the group how to safely launch, paddle, turn, stop, stand up on the board and exit the river. All of this will then be put into practice on a beautiful stretch of the non-tidal River Thames near to Hampton Court Palace. Your group can choose the content of your session depending on your level of experience and desired outcomes. There’s absolutely no pressure to stand or self-rescue if you don’t want to! The aim is to relax, have fun and explore safely whilst spending quality time with your friends/family/colleagues.
